| WCA UNIQUENESS |
| WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT WCA? |
| #1 Our
trips take visitors away from the crowds to the "real" wine
country. We visit only smaller, boutique, and family-owned vineyards,
allowing for personalized interaction with owners and wine makers.
Our outdoor adventure programs are in scenic but less-known rivers,
lakes, and hiking/biking areas. |
| #2. We have made a fundamental commitment
to responsible tourism that benefits the local community and minimizes
environmental effects. Sustainability is built into everything we
do, from the programs that we run to how we manage our operations.
We use recycled biodiesel in our vehicles and wherever else possible,
and the vineyards and farms that we visit all practice organic, biodynamic,
and other sustainable practices. By keeping our trips small-scale
and intimate, our goal is to both improve your own experience and
resuce environmental and social impacts. |
| #3. Our programs emphasize luxury,
comfort and safety. Tours include extraordinary meals
and wine, produced sustainably and artisanally. Lodging for overnight
programs is charming and locally-owned. Our spiritual and wellness
activities ensure a satisfying experience for both mind and body.
And all programs are run to the highest safety standards, under the
care of our well-trained and knowledgeable guides. nd adventure itinerary
that meets the needs of each guest. |
