In addition, we are providing a range of specially priced packages during the
2008 summer season. For a limited time, we are offering our daytime, weekend,
and longer term programs at savings of up to 50%. We are also teaming up
with Balokai to create one-of-a-kind packages that allow you to explore
some of the most beautiful but undiscovered parts of Wine Country. All
packages are comprehensive and include complete biodiesel transportation
services and "green epicure" food and beverages (local, sustainable,
and delicious).
DAYTIME PACKAGES
All of our daytime programs include transportation in our custom
biodiesel shuttle. From there we take you away to whatever daytime
adventure you have chosen, whether epicurean, outdoor adventure,
spiritual sojourn, or simple relaxing.
- Green Epicure Tour
Green Epicure tour. Our wine and food tours visit smaller, boutique,
and family-owned vineyards, allowing for personalized interaction
with owners and wine makers. We may also visit sustainable
farms and artisanal food makers that have made the region famous,
but remain little explored. Special price: $100 per person
(1/3 off regular price of $150).
- Balokai Retreat
Balokai retreat. You will have your own private riverside location
at this secluded llama ranch for a day of swimming in the river,
sunning on the sand, gourmet lunch, and otherwise doing pretty
much anything you would like. You also have access to several
outdoor hot tubs and full food and beverage service, served
alfresco in a gorgeous and secluded setting. Special price:
$75 per person (50% off regular price of $150).
OVERNIGHT PACKAGES
Our overnight and longer-term programs also include complete transportation
and provide you more time to explore the Wine Country in all of
its glorious diversity. Accomodations range from charming B&Bs
to comfortable riverside retreats.
- Romantic Two-Day Retreat
This package is specially designed
for couples and is offered both weekday and weekend. The first
day is spent touring sustainable and artisanal wine and food
makers before spending the night in a charming Wine Country
B&B. The next day night we take you to Balokai, where you
can relax in your own luxury retreat, complete with private
swimming hole, comfortable large-sized beds, and gourmet dining
in the wild. (Hot tubs and massage are also available.) Special
price: $300 per couple for two nights with complete meals (50%
off regular price of $600).
- Camp Balokai (Multi-Day Family Adventure)
This package is tailored
to the distinctive needs of families by balancing family time
with a chance for the parents to get away for awhile themselves.
Our daytime "Camp Balokai" programs allow kids to
explore the outdoors together under adult supervision while
giving you the opportunity to have some quiet time or participate
in one of our adult- oriented programs. We also provide diverse
activities suitable for the entire family, including nighttime
fires in our beautiful cob fire pit. Or you can simply relax
and explore together around your own riverside retreat. Special
price: $150 per 4-person family per night with complete meals
(50% off regular price of $300).
